The slide gate operator shall be the Model SLC as manufactured by Operator Specialty Company, Inc. (OSCO®) The Model SLC operator includes the following features: Cabinet: • Durable, weather-resistant, UV-stabilized polyethylene one-piece cover • Removable and lockable Mechanical: • Right-angle gear reducer • #41 roller drive chain and sprockets • Optional adjustable torque limiter available Mounting: • Pad mounting standard • Optional post mounting kit available Manual Release: • Manual release is easily accessible • External disconnect kit available Anti-Entrapment/Detection Devices: Operator is pre-wired to accept contact and non-contact detection devices such as contact edges and/or photo electric eyes. |

Automatic
gates are not for pedestrians!
Automatic gate operators are designed for vehicular
traffic only. They are powerful, and can cause serious injury or
death. Accordingly, direct all pedestrian traffic to a separate
pedestrian gate. UL325 requires the use of contact or non-contact
anti-entrapment devices.
